THE BODY SHOP - Bold, Open (to receive from God), Destined, Youth
The B.O.D.Y shop was founded by Elder Tanisha L. Jamison of Victory Christian Center in Danbury, CT and born on Friday, November 6, 2009. It stands for Bold, Open (to receive from God), Destined, Youth. This program has changed the lives of many young people, because we are reaching our young people by any means necessary. It's all about God! The B.O.D.Y Shop was given this name because first, the young people are not only the next generation, but they are also a very intricate part of the BODY of Christ. They hold the future of the church in their hands. So it is not only important but it is necessary, that they be built up and understand that there is more to this salvation message than religion. They need to know and understand RELATIONSHIP! A relationship with God is more than they will ever get from any religion. Second, The Body shop as we know it in the natural is a place where you take your car or automobile to be repaired, fixed, tuned up or in some cases….even REBUILT!
Mens Ministry
No one is born knowing how to be a Mighty Man of God. We believe Christian men are called to be a light to their homes, a help to their church, and mentors in their community.
Our men's Ministry focuses on bringing men together to teach them how to be who God has called them to be. Our brothers come together in love as Spiritual Warriors for the Lord, to laugh, to cry, to encourage one another, and to help each other carry the weight of honor that God has placed on His Sons. United and aligned with the vision of our Apostle Bobby G. Gardner, these men believe their strength in the Lord will foster strong families and in turn a stronger community. |

Porters Ministry
Psalms 84:10 says, "For a day in thy court is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." This is a role that is not taken lightly here at Victory. The Porters are the church's first line of welcome and communication between the head of the house and the congregation. Maintaining order throughout each service and the up keep of the sanctuary after each service are just a few of the duties of the Porters. As well as serving the Pastors and the leaders of the church, Porters tend to the needs of the congregation. Our Porters are instrumental in the smooth flowing success of each service.
